Parade

HOLIDAY IN LIGHTS PARADE

A new twist on the traditional downtown parade. This year, the parade will be held in the evening - 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. The parade route will be different than others. While it will start at 16th and Harrison streets and travel south on 16th Street to Logan Street, the parade will continue west through downtown and across the Bridge of Flowers, before passing Federal Hill Commons along State Road 19. Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency is assisting the city by providing additional portable light stands to better illuminate the roadway along the route. Any nonmotorized entry needs to have reflective material or glow sticks/bracelets on any walkers to ensure their safety during the parade. To encourage the holiday spirit, the Holiday in Lights Parade will include awards for the best holiday-themed entry, best use of lights and most hometown-inspired to celebrate the bicentennial.

Holidays at the Hill

Holidays on the Hill features an outdoor ice skating rink, walking light tour, carriage rides, holiday market, and letters to Santa at the Christmas Cottage.

Ice Plaza

Ice Plaza

The temporary ice rink has returned to Federal Hill Commons to offer residents an outdoor recreational activity this winter. Instead of offering sessions, our Ice Plaza allows skaters to enjoy the ice for as long as they want as admission is good all day long.

Lights Over Seminary

Lights Over Seminary is a walkable, holiday lights display in Seminary Park that focuses on history. Restored vintage decorations used by the city in the past are on display and will help brighten the night once again along with the signature light up Noblesville sign. Lights Over Seminary is a collaboration between the city, Noblesville Preservation Alliance and Duke Energy. The event is free to attend and available 5 to 11 p.m. nightly through December.

Tree Lighting

Lighting of the Square

The holiday season kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, with the annual Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce. This year's event will be held inside the Hamilton County Judicial Center before moving outdoors at 7:15 p.m. for the lighting of the Historic Courthouse Square. It is always a hit with families and includes holiday music and sing-alongs, special guests, and of course, the lighting of the beautiful downtown lights and Christmas tree.

Holiday Trash

Holiday Trash Impact

Because Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Mondays and will cause a 1-day delay for Noblesville residents’ regular trash and recycling pick-up.

In addition, Republic Services will collect Christmas trees from December 26 until January 6, 2024. Trees will be collected on the same day and in the same location as residents’ trash/recycle collection. Please note that trees must be cut into sections of no more than four feet per section and placed inside the trash cart so that the automated arm of the trucks will be able to place them in the truck. Trees lying on the ground besides trash containers will not be collected.

For questions, contact Republic Services at (317) 567-6400.
